Conversation in simple past

P: we meet the
scientist who discovered the coronavirus vaccine
P. How did you get it?
J:it was a
hard job, but all scientist worked together and it's the result
P: Why was it so
difficult to develop a vaccine?
J: It wasn't really difficult, different laboratories had
sequenced the virus
J: the real problem was give
security to whoever applied it
P: why did you decide to be a scientist?
J: My dad had tuberculosis and died of that disease. That
encouraged me to discover new vaccines to save more lives and that other
children do not suffer the same as me.
P: In some films, such as 'Contagion' (2011), a hypothetical
infectious disease with a high mortality rate is narrated, spreading very
quickly throughout the world. What do you think is scientifically possible that
something similar happened?
J: As for what could really happen ,
not everyone has the receptors for these microbes, and therefore such a
pandemic would not occur universally. It can be transmitted suddenly to some
people in some areas of the world, which is what is considered a pandemic, but
not to everyone worldwide.
P: Oh, interesting thanks for everything
J: wash your hands
